Delivery Rates

 

  • For parcel deliveries that weigh less than 15kg, there will be a delivery charge of £9.99
  • Orders under £100 excluding delivery, will incur an additional £15 fee. This fee is used to cover some of our costings. On small orders we often make a loss as the pallet delivery alone can exceed the total of our order. However we will always ensure that you're getting the highest standard of product for the lowest price. 
  • For pallet deliveries that weigh between 15kg and 1000kg, the standard delivery charge will be £40 IF your post code is in ENGLAND or WALES. Deliveries to Scotland and Northern Ireland will incur an additional £39.99 delivery charge in light of the distance from our main distribution point.
  • A next working day delivery service is available on orders that have been placed before 3pm on most tiles and 1pm on a select few tiles. Items will be delivered on the next working day. The cost of our next day delivery service is £55 IF your postcode is in England or Wales. Deliveries to Scotland and Northern Ireland will incur an additional £39.99 delivery charge in light of the distance from our main distribution point.
  • Our couriers will usually contact you an hour before delivery. Our couriers will usually wait some time if there is no initial response at the delivery address. In any unfortunate case where a delivery has not been successful, a second delivery can be rearranged but an additional cost will be incurred.
  • Samples can be sent out on request. 
  • If in the unfortunate yet rare instance there is a mistake with your express delivery, we will pay to rectify this or you have the option of a full refund. 

 

 

DELIVERY TIMESCALES

  • Our standard delivery is a three to a maximum four day delivery service. Providing your order has been made before 1pm, we will deliver your item within three to four working days.

Example 1:

  • If your order and payment is processed by 1pm on Monday, you will receive your delivery by Thursday. If you prefer a later delivery date, feel free to contact us and this can be arranged.

Example 2:

  • If your order and payment is processed at 6pm on Monday, you will receive your delivery on Friday. On busy periods this can extend to Monday. An express delivery service is available if you need the tiles much earlier.

Example 3:

  • If your order and payment is processed at 12pm on Thursday, you will received your delivery by Tuesday.
  • Our next day delivery service is available on orders that have been processed before 1pm. As highlighted above, the next day delivery service costs £10 extra and will be delivered on the next working day.

Example 1:

  • If your order and payment is processed at 12pm on Monday, you will receive your delivery on Tuesday by 6pm.

Example 2:

  • If your order and payment is processed at 12pm on Friday, you will receive your delivery on the following Monday by 6pm.

 

HOW WILL MY TILES BE DELIVERED

  • Sample tiles and small orders under 15kg will be delivered through one of our designated parcel courier companies. We aim to provide you a two hour window on the day of your delivery. You will be notified via text message.
  • Aside from small tile orders weighing less than 30kg, the vast majority of our tile orders will be a pallet delivery. Your tiles will be securely wrapped and delivered to the nearest accessible location to your address. It is important to note this will be a kerbside delivery. Due to health and safety regulations, the driver will not be able to transport the goods into your property.
  • Deliveries arrive on a tail lift truck. This could be an 18 tonne truck. Therefore it is important that you notify us of any potential access issues.
  • Uneven driveway, gravel paths, stairs or any other hazards could result in your pallet being delivered to an alternative accessible location as close to your home address as feasible.
  • Good will not be broken down or removed from the pallet by the delivery driver. Due to the weight of tiles, please ensure you take the necessary precautions to avoid injuring yourself or causing any damage.
  • A £40 per pallet re-delivery fee will be applied to any missed delivery. 

RETURNS INFO

DAMAGES

At Tiles Deluxe, we take great care in securely packing every order to ensure your tiles arrive in perfect condition. All pallets are professionally wrapped and packed tightly to prevent movement in transit. However, due to the delicate nature of tiles and the heavy-goods network used to deliver them, occasional breakages can still occur despite our best efforts.

To help us resolve any issues promptly, please inspect your tiles upon delivery. If you find any damage, simply take clear photos and email them to support@tilesdeluxe.co.uk within 48 hours of receipt.

  • For tiles broken and unusable, we will issue a refund for the affected tiles.

  • If you would prefer replacement tiles, we are happy to send these out - we just ask for a £45 contribution toward the cost of the replacement pallet carriage.

For tiles that have minor chips or edge imperfections, we offer a 50% refund, as these can often be used for cuts or smaller areas during installation.

As a helpful tip, and in line with best trade practice, we always recommend ordering 10–15% extra tiles to allow for cuts, wastage, and minor risks in transit. This small allowance ensures a smoother installation and protects you against delays caused by needing additional tiles later.

Please note that large-format tiles such as 60x60cm or 60x120cm are always transported on pallets due to their size and weight. Once dispatched, your order travels between multiple depots and vehicles on its way to you, and while we use trusted and reliable couriers, we have no direct control during transit.

Our terms and conditions reflect this process and are designed to be fair and transparent, consistent with our low and competitive tile prices.

CHANGE OF CHOICE:

  • We always recommend customers to take up the option of viewing a sample before they make a full order.  However, as a customer, you have the right to return your goods within 30 days of delivery if you are not happy with your selection.
  • The customer will be responsible for arranging transport and insurance of goods. 
  • Please contact us if arranging a returns so we can send you the details of the closest returns address. 
  • All returns can be sent to our returns warehouse at 43 FREEMENS COMMON ROAD, LEICESTER, LE27SQ
  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 days of the items being returned.  It is important to note that the original delivery costs will not be refunded.
  • If your order was eligible for a free delivery then the delivery charge that would otherwise apply would not be refunded. As an ecommerce company we work on wafer thin profit margins and pallet deliveries can cost us £70-£100. For this reason the £40 - £55 delivery that we normally charge our customers to send the goods out will not be refunded.
  • A handling cost of £25 per pallet will be deducted on returns and all tiles are required to be in their boxes and in a condition that is suitable for a re-sale. 

LEFTOVERS:

  • Here at Tiles Deluxe, because of our low prices, we have a rapid stock turnover.  If you have leftover stock that you would like to return, please email us at support@tilesdeluxe.co.uk with the details. Providing we still have the same shade and batch available, we are happy for you to return these to us.  You will be responsible for the delivery of these items which must be returned within 30 days of your delivery date.
  • The refund will be processed within 7 days of the items being returned.
